The product, an evolution of  the classical Christmas Lights, is not only a “geek gadget” but a combination of a state of the art LEDs, the result of an in-depth study on materials and hardware/software components, which let you choose animations, color, brightness and effects by simply using a smartphone or another connected device.

They are designed for a quick and intuitive use: once placed on the tree, the light effects can be managed through a free app, available for both iOS and Android devices.

Thanks to an innovative patented software, the app can use the smartphone’s camera to map the position of every LED, making feasible light effects never seen before. Some effects are preset in the device’s memory, but the gallery can be enriched by downloading upgrades or designing a custom animation, directly from inside the app, best option for customers with real imagination.
The developers and engineers, a multi-skilled team based in Milan, are already working to further expand Twinkly’s features and they told the press that they have currently received orders from UK, Ireland, Canada and the US, where the product seems to enjoy the greater success.

The first Twinkly packs will be shipped in November to the backers who funded the project on  Kickstarter. But everyone will very soon be able to enjoy them this Christmas, buying Twinkly from selected retail outlets and from leading e-commerce websites, starting from the official company website, www.twinkly.com.

Probably the best Christmas wishes will be: happy Geek Christmas!
